Hi,

I cannout find the ICNS files in the archive. I'd like to have the icons in ICNS format (since I use Windows and IcoFX supports only ICNS); can you please convert them, and perhaps your folder icons as well?

Sorry But Mac OS X can only read ICNS and HQX, and Windows can only read ICO. I had this same problem :/ Maybe try and go to www.iconverticons.com and re-download it as an ICO file. But If you think windows can read ICNS, then go ahead and download that :)

I'm done converting them to windows format.

They look somehow different from the Windows version, unless you manually resized them.

...I'm looking into Adobe Systems TOO much.

And that Photobucket photo Is wrong. The default Mac OS X icon size IS INFACT 512x512 pixels. BIGGER and CLEARER than Windows 256x256 icons.

They've got even bigger ones here: [link]

These icons (and other graphics revolving around them) started off as vector images made with Illustrator, Fireworks, or both.

I couldn't get the 512x512 icons with IcoFX or iConvert. IcoFX did show a nitice that it contained a 512 icon that it couldn't display though.

but the wierd thing is, all Mac OS X icons are topped at 512x512 pixels, and the 512x512 version of the Adobe icons on Mac are skinnier than the 128x128 version... that's a bit odd :/

I guess the thickness of the 3D part (or rather, the whole icon) is tailored for each icon size. This makes it weird for me to see the regular-sized icons looking blurred.

No I did not edit them at all, the 3D part on the Mac Adobe icons are a little thicker. Windows on the other hand are skinny. That Is what you probably mean

...Oh wait. I can access your icons now. The contents could be found in the /__MACOSX/Adobe CS5 icons/HQX folder.

Can I make Windows-compatible versions of these icons and upload them (or let you do that)?

Actually, for some reason I cannot find .icns files in your zip file. There are only two folders names HQX and PNG.

This tool called IcoFX runs on Windows and can read both ICO and ICNS files (and is therefore very valuable). I tried to read your HQX files with that, but it failed.

On other note, I'm surprised to see you getting these icons. I mean, how did you get Audition and Media Player? This could mean either you made them yourself (perhaps using these .ai files), or Adobe is releasing these icons in ways I don't know.

Much thanks!

Actually why is the Adobe Media Player icon in that format????????? Maybe they are going to release and Adobe Media Player CS5 and they have a Leaked hidden icon in the installer file!!!! This happens all the time in new apps!!!!

It's probably a planned but dropped release. Which is too bad, since Adobe Media Player was the only way to extract and save Adobe TV videos if I remember correctly.

I went inside the "adobe_cs5_mastercollection.dmg" file, went into the folder that held every install file and folder, then went inside each one and extracted the files myself. I then right clicked on each .app file and selected "Show Package Contents" and found the icons in there.
